About Us

Sandridge, St Albans is situated in the South East of England making the event easily accessible from Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex and Buckinghamshire.

St Albans is a 20 min train ride from London.

The beautiful trail is coutryside around the Heartwood Forest.

The Sandridge10k committee is made up of Sandridge village residents and parents of Sandridge Primary School – all keen runners, all lovers of our local trails, all keen to encourage healthy lifestyles and to give something back to the community.

The Sandridge 10k committee are formally an association. They are supporters of, but not part of, the Sandridge school PTA. Since our first event we have been able to donate an impressive £7000 to the school as our chosen charity.

Between us we hold a number of running accolades, but none so exciting as being part of a local event in a stunning location.

ENTRY FEES:

Entry to both events is open!

FAMILY FUN RUN (APPROX 1 MILE)

Family Fun Run entry is £6.

Children over 8 are able to run unaccompanied, but children under 8 years of age must have an accompanying adult (£2 entry fee per adult).

Please note there will be no medals for accompanying adults.

10K TRAIL RUN

Walkers or runners 16 to 116 years (be sensibile) of age may enter the 10k run.

Standard entry £20 for club affiliated runners, £22 for non affiliated. 2021 runners are entitles to 10% off entry fees (see discount code sent via email about our 2022 event). If you have not received this code, please email us sandridge10k@gmail.com.

Please note there will be a late entry fee of £2 per runner for entries after 10th September 2022.

There is an adminsitrative booking fee set by the sign up company added to all entries.
