Can I withdraw from the race?
Of course you can, however you will not be reimbursed your entrance fee.

Can I transfer my place to another runner?
Yes, up to 7 days before the race. Please refer back to your registration email for details of how to transfer your place.

Can I wear headphones? Yes, although do remember it is fun to engage with other runners and the marshals?

Can I bring my dog to run with me? No, sorry. No dogs if you are running the course set out by us.

Yes, of course if you are running your own route at your own time (as long as the area you are running in allows dogs!)

Can I submit a postal entry?
Unfortunately, we are unable to process postal entries. All runners must enter online.

Can I enter on the day?
Entries will close at midnight on 17th September, (or when we reach capacity)

Where can I Park? There will be limited parking available on the field at Sandridge Primary school (Race HQ). Alternative parking is available in the village, on residential roads and Sandridge Village car park. Please do not use the carpark at Heartwood Forest.

Are there shower facilities? Sorry, no.

Can I walk the 10k? Yes, by all means walkers are permitted to enter. If you are walking, please stand aside for runners in narrower sections.

Are there any age restrictions?
10k entrants must be 16 years old or over on race day.

What does the entry fee include?
Alongside a great sense of achievement and a 10% discount code for the 2023 Sandridge 10k, runners can choose to receive one of our Sandridge 10k wooden medals Or new for this year, plant a tree instead. Sandridge 10k will pay for ATW’s partnered sustainable forestry organisation to plant a tree on your behalf.

Planting a tree is one of the very best things you can do for the environment. They suck excess carbon dioxide (the main driver of climate change) out of the air, provide a home for a huge number of species and give us clean air to breath.

100% of the profit is going to Sandridge Primary School charity no 298754.

Will there be bag drop off facilities?
There will be a designated but non secure drop off spot – all items left at runners own risk.

What if the event is cancelled? If we are unable (for whatever reason) to run on race day as planned, the event will default to become entirely virtual and you will be asked to run where you are, submitting your ‘evidence’ via email and receiving your medal through the post (or email as planned about tree). Refunds will not be offered.

ENTRY FEES:

Entry to both events is open!
