Race numbers with integrated chip timing will be available to collect from Race HQ on race day – bring safety pins!!

Car Parking: Public car parks in Sandridge Village (High Street, AL4 9DA). Car parking spacewill be opened up at Sandridge Primary School (Woodcock Hill, AL4 9EB)

Belongings: There will be a unmanned gazebo location where you can leave items but do not leave mobile phones or valuables.

Food and drink festival throughout – adjacent to start and finish.

Start and finish through the Active Training World arch .

Route: Both the 10k and family fun run routes are TRAIL runs. – predominantly off road on paths and woodland terrain. Please be aware of trip hazards and uneven footing.

There will be physical route markings out on race day and marshals stationed along the course.

Chip timing: This is a chip timed event – be sure to wear your race bib with the chip attached, drop it in the recycling box at the finish, then log on and check out where you came on the leaderboard.

Medals: YES! You have the option at registration to choose one of our Sandridge 10k bespoke wooden medals OR to have a tree planted on your behalf – you will receive and emailed photo of said sapling and location (should you wish to visit it), once you have completed the race.

Music: Yes! You are welcome to listen to your own music as you run but do bear in mind this is a ‘live’ route and a sociable event – so why not leave off the headphones and enjoy the company of those around you!

Water: Hydrate well before your run and look forward to a cool drink when you finish, or take a bottle with you to have on route. Water at the finish.

First aid: Qualified first aiders will be available around the course and at Race HQ for the duration of the event within our planned event times.

Photography: Sandridge 10k reserves the right to use any photograph/video taken without the expressed written permission of those included within the photograph/video.

Images/Videos may be used in future press releases, printed publicity and posted on any social media platform associated with Sandridge 10k.

Sandridge 10k may use the photograph/video in publications or other media including but not limited to: printed press, newspapers, magazines, television, websites, social media platforms etc. A drone capturing footage may be used on the day.

Anyone attending the Sandridge 10k event who does not wish to have their image recorded for distribution should make their wishes known to the event organisers.

By participating in a Sandridge 10k event or by failing to notify Sandridge 10k, you are agreeing to release and withhold any claims involving the use of your picture or likeness.

Getting to the event & PARKING

In the interest of both health and minimising our carbon footprint, runners and spectators are encouraged to walk or cycle to the event where possible.

There are regular bus routes through the village of Sandridge from St Albans and surroundding villages.

Car parking space will be opened up at Sandridge Primary School (Woodcock Hill, AL4 9EB) but parking is limited here.

There are public car parks in Sandridge Village (High Street, AL4 9DA). Sandridge School (AL4 9EB) is a short walk from the Village Hall and playing fields where there is extra parking.
